Covid-19 Business Protocol

Navigating this virus in the personal care industry is something that will require a calculated process. Our intention is to be able to provide much needed therapies while maintaining safe practices, safe-guards, and minimizing the risk of exposure to Covid-19.  The following procedures will be implemented per the regulations of North Dakota Executive Orders. It is critical that we explain to you, our valuable clients, how we are working to keep us all safe and healthy.


Making Your Appointment:

  • You must make an appointment to secure a session time. No walk-ins will be allowed.
  • Per the North Dakota guidelines, clients are encouraged to wear a mask.  If you do not have one, we do have them available at our office.


Preparing For Your Appointment: 


Please ask yourself the following questions.  If you respond "YES" to any of them, please call to reschedule your session or refrain from making an appointment at this time.


Do you currently have any of the following:

Fever or chills?

Cough?

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?

Fatigue?

Unexplained muscle or body aches?

New loss of taste or smell?

Sore throat?

Congestion or runny nose?

Nausea or vomiting?

Diarrhea?

Are you ill? Or caring for someone who is ill?

Are you currently waiting on the result of a COVID-19 test?

Are you isolating or quarantining because you may have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 or are worried that you may be sick with COVID-19?


If you answered "NO"  to all questions, please continue to book your appointment or plan for your arrival. If you should begin to feel ill, please let us know as soon as possible so we can get your appointment rescheduled.


Your Arrival:

  • Please remain in your vehicle upon arrival to our office and text or call 701.297.8191 to check in with our front desk. If you need to use the restroom, please do so prior to checking in.  If we have a seat for you to wait with social distancing inside, we will offer you the option to come in, otherwise, we will call or text you to come in once the Therapist and treatment room is ready. You will go directly to the Therapist’s room.
  • We encourage you to wear your mask while at our office over your nose and mouth to the extent possible. If you do not have one, we can provide one for you.
  • Please hang your clothing on hooks provided in each room. We ask you not to lay your clothing on surfaces that cannot be sanitized easily.
  • If you are feeling ill or have symptoms of any illness or have been in contact with a positive Covid-19 person, we will not allow you to receive service at this time. Nor will we charge you for that appointment.
  • We may also ask to take your temperature upon arrival.


Treatment Room - Our “DEEP CLEAN PROCESS”

  • All linens that have been exposed to a client in the session will be removed after each client and put into the laundry bin (with lid): 
    • Linens
    • Face cradle cover
    • Sheets
  • All surfaces will be disinfected. 
    • Face cradle pad, bars, handles
    • Door knobs
    • Stool
    • All other touch points that clients/therapists may have touched during session
    • Oil pump tops
    • Cups
    • Stones


Therapist Hygiene:

  • Each LMT will scrub their hands/arms before each session as well as after. They will use soap and the appropriate duration at least 20 seconds. 
  • Your Therapist will wear a mask /face covering during your time at the office over their nose and mouth.


Taking Payment - Post Treatment:

  • Once you have completed with your service and have redressed. You may open the door so the Therapist will know you are ready. The Therapist will return to the room and escort you to a check-out counter that has appropriate social distancing from other staff and guests.


We have also put into place guidelines for our staff that we would like to share with you. Office Social Distancing for our Staff:

  • Our staff will maintain 6’ from co-workers
  • Lunch may be eaten outside on a picnic table or off-site. 
  • Break Rooms will be for hand washing only and no gathering of any kind will be allowed by our team.


Therapist Health:

  • If our staff has been exposed directly to someone positive to Covid-19, they will be asked to be tested and remain home until they have a negative result.
  • If they feel ill, they will not be allowed to work.
  • We are asking that our team would limit outside exposure to others. Keep the shelter-in-place mindset going straight from home to work.


Common Areas:

  • We will be sanitizing the office common areas consistently throughout the day. The bathroom handles, door knobs, touch points will all be cleaned hourly.


We understand this will be a new way of operation. We strongly feel that if we are aggressive with our safety measures, we will decrease the risk for you and our team. We look forward to providing you with a safe and healing environment!
