Chair yoga is a therapeutic adaptive exercise program which focuses on stretching and breath work. Chair yoga reduces the strain on joints and muscles, which allows someone who is unable to stand for traditional yoga an opportunity to practice. Modified chair yoga poses can help seniors and people with chronic pain or limited mobility improve their quality of life and may help lower blood pressure, improve sleep patterns and manage depression. Every BODY can reap the benefits of Chair Yoga!
I am a registered Dietitian, with a degree from NDSU in Food and Nutrition. My passion growing up was dance, where I learned to appreciate the strength and grace of the human body. Wanting to continue my pursuit of learning how to nourish the body from the inside out, I became a certified group fitness instructor with a desire to help others pursue their journey in health and wellness.
