CRANIAL-SACRAL THERAPY
Provided by Sue CTS
is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the physiological body system called the craniosacral
system. This system is comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surrounds and protects the brain and spinal
cord. Using a soft touch, no greater than 5 grams, restrictions are
released to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. It compliments the body's natural healing processes to
bolster resistance to disease and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.
Clients may remain fully clothed during sessions. ASHIATSU-THAI MASSAGE
Provided by Sue
Lopez A massage technique
in which the therapist uses her body to move the massage recipient into a series of poses, and includes muscle compression,
joint mobilization and acupressure. Ashi-Thai is an amazing treatment for stretching and elongating the muscle tissues. Ashi-Thai massage
is practiced on a massage table while the therapist uses bars overhead which is instrumental in the effective use of
the practitioner's body weight. Except for the feet, the client remains fully clothed, so draping is not necessary. (Please bring
comfortable clothing to use for your Ashi-Thai session.)
ASHIATSU ORIENTAL BAR THERAPY (AOBT) by Shelle Moran & Pam Kulink "The deepest, most luxurious massage on the planet" A barefoot massage technique using deep compression effleurage
strokes that glide over the body. Gravitational force is combined with centrifugal and centripetal movements. This creates
a structural change in chronic soft tissue damage. Bars are used above the head for support and balance. Ashiatsu is NOT walking
up and down a client's back like many people think, but a luxurious stroke that many clients say "feels like a really
big hand!" We are the only AOBT practitioners in Fargo/Moorhead.
